On January 11th, Eye Care Equality hosted its impactful eye care camp at Pooja Metals Processors Pvt. Ltd. on Mathura Road, Faridabad. We were honored to extend our compassionate services to 267 blue-collar workers.

At this meaningful event, our dedicated team of doctors and volunteers conducted free eye check-ups, identifying and addressing previously undetected vision issues. This initiative was a significant step towards ensuring the safety, well-being, and productivity of the workforce. The day was filled with smiles, gratitude, and the promise of clearer vision, offering these individuals a brighter, more secure future.

We tested 267 workers and found that 80 workers needed reading glasses, which were provided free of charge, while 67 workers were prescribed distance glasses. Additionally, 59 eye drops were distributed to workers experiencing eye discomfort such as redness or itchiness. In total, 77.15% of workers required eye care services.

A special thank you to Pooja Metals Processors Pvt. Ltd. for placing your trust in us and providing the opportunity to organize this camp at your second factory. Your commitment to employee well-being is truly commendable.

Eye Care Equality remains steadfast in our mission to offer quality eye care services to those in need, one event at a time.
